Zero-Trust Credential Security

Vault Mode implements a Zero-Knowledge Architecture where your credentials are encrypted with a key that is never stored on our servers. You retain full sovereignty over your secrets.

Architecture

The Two-Key System

We utilize a split-key encryption model. One key is managed by our infrastructure, while the decryption key is known only to you.

1. User-Controlled Keys

Your passphrase generates a high-entropy key. This key is never persisted on our servers, ensuring we never possess the ability to decrypt your data alone.

2. Zero-Knowledge Storage

Database credentials are encrypted using a composite key derived from both your personal key and our server key. We store only the encrypted ciphertext.

3. Just-in-Time Decryption

Decryption occurs only in ephemeral memory during an active connection session. Once the session ends, the decrypted secrets are wiped from memory.

Sovereignty

Enterprise-Grade Security

Our architecture is designed to minimize trust requirements. You don't have to trust us with your secrets because we technically cannot access them.

Vendor-Proof Privacy

We technically cannot access your credentials. Your personal key is required for decryption, ensuring you maintain absolute control over your infrastructure access.

Cryptographic Guarantee

Security is enforced by mathematics, not just policy. Even in the event of a total server compromise, your data remains mathematically inaccessible without your personal key.

VaultSQL audit log

Compliance Ready

Simplifies SOC2 and ISO 27001 compliance by ensuring third-party vendors (us) have no access to your production secrets. We provide full audit trails for every access event.

Our approach

Security by Design

Built on the principles of least privilege and zero trust. Our architecture ensures that you don't have to trust us with your secrets. We apply rigorous security standards to every layer of our infrastructure.

Industry Veterans

Built by engineers with deep backgrounds in network security and infrastructure.

End-to-End Encryption

Each device has its own encrypted key pair, ensuring granular access control.

Compliance Logging

Immutable audit logs for all access events to satisfy compliance requirements.
